Asset Protection Planning
A review of real estate, private holdings and insurance layers, so one bad event does not undo a lifetime of work.
The exposures a business owner or professional carries
A practice, a rental house, a stake in a private deal: for most owners and professionals around Chattanooga, a lifetime of work sits in a handful of places, and each of those places can be reached by one bad claim or one bad year. Bruno E. Pouliot starts asset protection planning by naming those places out loud, on a phone or Zoom call, before anyone mentions a product.
A teacher or a first responder carries different exposures than a contractor with employees, and a family carries a third set. Lion Of Judah Financial plans for businesses, professionals and families, so the first conversation follows who you are and what you own, not a checklist.
One line first, because it matters in this work: We Don't Offer Legal Advice, Nor Tax Advice! Bruno educates and organizes the picture, and the attorneys and CPAs on his team answer the legal and tax questions that come out of it.

Reviewing illiquid assets, real estate and insurance layers with the team
One of Bruno's planning modules is the Review of Real Estate Holdings and Other Illiquid Assets: property, private investments and anything else that cannot be sold on a Tuesday afternoon. He looks at the cash flow each holding throws off, the risk it carries, and how it fits the income you will need in retirement.
The insurance layer comes next, through the Insurance and Risk Management for Retirement Income module. Life, disability, long-term care and annuity options are reviewed in plain language against what the real estate review turned up, so the cover matches the exposure instead of the other way around.
Bruno works as a team. Attorneys, CPAs, CFPs and real estate advisors join the planning when your situation calls for them. Not every module applies to every client, and he says so up front.
Keeping it current
Holdings change. A property is bought or sold, a partner leaves, a child joins the business. Expect regular check-ins and plain-language guidance from the first call to the last, and recommendations that are reviewed with your Retirement Planner, with any needed changes discussed together.
Information shared in planning sessions is confidential. Appointments run Monday to Sunday by appointment only, from Chattanooga to anywhere in the continental USA by phone or Zoom. Call (423) 326-5299 and Bruno will tell you what to gather before the first session.
We Don't Offer Legal Advice, Nor Tax Advice! Bruno E. Pouliot plans the review and brings in the attorneys and CPAs on his team for the legal and tax work. Call (423) 326-5299 or meet by Zoom.
Protection plans tend to touch two neighbors. Insurance Planning covers the policies themselves, and Estate Planning covers what your family receives and how. You can also read how Bruno works on the Financial Coaching page.
